Stagend

For Stagend, an online service to connect supply and demand of musicians, performers, speakers for conferences asked me for a light restyling of their logo which then they have not yet totally applied for various reasons. Since the restyling is not substantial this is not confusing, basically I changed the font of the word “stagend” by removing the .com (very 90s) but with one that has the same flavor, changed the orange using a more vibrant web color, and chose two new fonts to use on the website and social communications.
The picks were a pre-existing element that I was asked to keep while being very didactic and somewhat similar to other logos. These requests are recurring in my work, and although I try to explain, I generally fail to convince clients to change their minds about these things somewhat frustrating my efforts to have the most effective result possible.
