A story about the ‘Spazio Esplorativo’ in Lugano. For this video, I handled the direction and editing, while the footage was filmed by the young participants themselves using their smartphones. This choice presented technical challenges but, at the same time, gave the final result a rare authenticity.

Claudio Brignole
Thirty-five years of experience in design, communication, and storytelling. It’s called experience. In 1991, I founded Aelle Hip Hop Magazine, the first Italian magazine dedicated to Hip Hop culture. Since then, I have never stopped telling authentic stories.
Today, in addition to the video interviews for Aelle, I have chosen to translate that same passion for discovering true stories into StoryLab. These are not like other videos. They are the result of thirty years of listening, of genuine connection with people and brands who have something real to say. I believe that the best stories are not those that are sold, but those told in a way that the audience never forgets how they made them feel.

Absolutely. I am the president of a non-profit myself, so I understand the mission and the challenges of communicating it. For non-profits, I apply a 50% lower rate, making the production of a mini-documentary that showcases your work possible even without a large budget.
I offer "white label" solutions: your client, your management. It’s a win-win scenario: you can offer documentary videos—providing significant added value—without the commitment of hiring new staff, while I execute the work without the burden of client acquisition. I interact with your client only during the pre- and post-production phases, where I develop the narrative, discover the story and characters, and handle editing and delivery. Your agency maintains its brand and the client relationship; I bill you directly, and you apply whatever markup you choose. Naturally, I commit to never contacting your client independently in the future.
Every story is different. It depends on the complexity of the research, the number of characters, the locations, and the final duration. Generally, a short documentary of 4–7 minutes with a production time of about two weeks starts at 3,000 francs; a medium-to-long one of 10–15 minutes requires a larger budget.
It depends on the length and complexity. A short documentary (up to 10 minutes) takes 1–2 months from start to finish. Longer and more complex videos can take 4–6 months. Accelerated timelines are also possible if necessary.
Yes, I offer ongoing services on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. I become a part of your communication strategy, producing consistent videos that maintain your style and narrative over time.
